Campus Tour
Samsung had just launched their next generation of smartphones, including the Z Flip4, Z Fold4 and S22. With sleek new designs and some innovative new features, they were looking to excite their existing user base, while attracting other Android and iOS users.
The Challenge
Samsung wanted to create some buzz around its Galaxy Z Flip4 smartphone – specifically with a focus on Gen-Z females.
Strategic Approach
With exam time approaching for post-secondary students (Gen-Z), we decided to bring a Samsung-branded experience to the one place we knew we could find them in droves: on campus.
The Campaign
We created a branded experience that focused on putting the Z Flip4 in the hands of Samsung’s target audience and showcasing some of the features that would appeal to them. To create hype, we dropped a prize vault in the center of the activation and built an app that would give participants a 4-digit code in exchange for their contact information (lead gen). If the code opened the vault, they could win high-value Samsung Galaxy prizes, including a new Z Flip4!
The Galaxy Z Flip4 tour traveled to four Universities in Ontario and Quebec (amplified with on-campus media), with extra stops at Toronto’s Yonge Dundas Square and STACKT market to extend our reach at the end of December.
