Huawei leveraged a field team to highlight their brand and promote their products with national and regional retailers across Canada. Huawei’s Canadian product line-up includes: smartphones, tablets, wearables, and laptops. The Huawei national field team secured virtual and in-person trainings at Bell, Virgin, The Source, Telus, Koodo, Rogers, Fido, Glentel (Wireless Wave, TBooth, Wireless ETC.), Sasktel, WoW!, London Drugs, Visions, and Canada Computers retailers.
Influence provided Huawei Canada with an employee outsource solution, which included payroll and human resource management of the field team. When Influence acquired the program, it required the transfer of employment of twenty (20) full-time, permanent field representatives across five (5) provinces.
The program also provided Huawei with joint marketing data to ensure program execution and insight that increased store reps’ knowledge and expertise. During COVID-19, the team quickly pivoted to virtual store visits while providing online training.
