Reko Pizzelle contacted Influence Marketing with a request to digitally amplify and market their brand-new strawberry flavoured pizzelles. To do this, we combined digital and social marketing efforts with an interactive microsite for users to register into our contest "The Great Reko Pizzelle Showdown". Brand awareness was amplified through Facebook, Instagram, influencer advertising as well as email marketing targeted directly to interested consumers.
To enter the contest, users were asked to visit the microsite, enter their name, contact information and vote for their favourite Pizzelle desserts. Users were then entered into a draw for Reko themed prizes such as: umbrellas, picnic baskets and Amazon gift cards of varying amounts, up to $1,000. Registrants were also encouraged to send in pictures of their pizzelle creations for additional entries.
The sweet combination of Reko Pizzelle desserts and summertime prizing made this contest a winner for Reko!
